Team West Success Stories

A customer in the Wilson Creek field was using upwards of 200 liters per day of methanol to treat a new glauc gas well. Contact began using our H5131 Hydrate Inhibitor on this well at 20 liters per day to start. We slowly optimized our rate down and found that at 5 liters per day we could prevent the line from freezing off.

A customer in the Medicine River field was using a competitor’s wax solvent to batch 4 pumping oil wells. The batches were 200 liters monthly per well with 1 well getting 200 liters every 2 weeks. Contact tested the wax with our P7263 solvent and has optimized the batch program to each well receiving 105 liters monthly. Rods were pulled to change a worn pump and were found to be wax free.
